After thinking about an item I want to purchase, the time has come. I have done everything the responsible prospective buyer does: Do I need it?  Yes. Will I use it faithfully? Yes. Will I save money using it?  Yes. Is it reliable?  Yes. Will my family see my desire for it, but snicker behind my back for buying it?  Yes.

So now I go online and make my amazing purchase that just might be what will save mankind in case of an Apocalyptic Event!  Picked my online store based on hours of research… noting ratings, customer service and availability.

Credit card in hand I’m ready to hit “Buy” but wait, someone rang my doorbell!  Unexpected guest, and they stay way too late. Oh well, I think; I will make the purchase in the AM.

Get up, have coffee in hand, fire up computer, ready to make my longed-for purchase. Damn! Price went up $50.00 overnight!!! How does that happen?!?  I actually call customer service (this is much too important for online chat, they need to hear my frustration).  So sorry, I’m told, nothing they can do.  So, I wind up paying the new, higher, price while wondering if I can get the unexpected guest from last night to pay the extra $50.00?
